Ideas, Improvements and Tweaks etc

Ok this is the section for members ideas etc.

Lets be fair here there are more of us as a collective than the staff. The more of us means the more ideas and the more little things we spot. They could be little niggles or new sections or anything really.

If you have an idea, an improvement, something you think needs changing or a tweak etc. Then start a thread in this section to let us know.
If it can be done we will try our best to do it, if it can't we will say but tell you why.

So don't be shy share them ideas people.

The problem arises with the size of the pic. If you resize they can look ondd.

To have one pic fill all the chatbox it needs to be 900x 200 in size. To halve it and have 2 it would have to be 450 x 200.

If there is a new pic you want in there Paul send me the url address and Ill put it in.

On an old website i was part of there was a section to predict who will win the cups e.g. FA cup, league cup and scottish cup. The scoreing was 6 points for correct, 3 if they got to the final and 1 if they got to the semi final.
Also there was a section to predict how they tables would finish. The points scoring for that was 6 for correct, 4 for 1 place out, 2 for 2 places out and 1 for 3 places out. I found these fun and good for a bit of banter with other fans. I think that it would be a great addition to the website.

Funny you should bring this up but have been talking of something Like this and will be launching a guess who will finish in top 3/4 and bottom3/4 and the cup winners. Will be hopefully launch in a newsletter this weekend.

Sam just start a tred names Jokes in Gen Chat and I'll pin it and see where it goes from there mate

How about The Bank letting us know how well each of us have betted in the Betting Shop, say on a monthly basis ?

Maybe after the start of October we could be told how much each of us won/lost overall for September 1st-30th, and so-on.

It is after all where someone ought to post first and we might stop some spammers and the like from putting crap somewhere else for us to remove.

No Paul there isn't a way of doing that I'm afraid. They all get an e-mail when they join with a link to the "say hello" bit and asking to post there but at the end of the day you can't make someone post.

Also I think you need new members to post full stop and to be honest it doesn't matter where really does it. Just having them post and join in is enough.

If you think it's nice for them to do an intro at some point then we could award 1000 credits for posting in there as well as 1000 for their first post. I don't mind doing that to see if that helps people post their first post etc.

Don't worry about it mate.

For what it's worth IMO they shouldn't need an incentive to say hello in the correct area of the forum, and I'm suspicious of those that do not want to.
