SHIELDS JOINS MOTHERWELL
QUEEN OF THE SOUTH STRIKER MOVES TO FIR PARK

Motherwell have made Connor Shields their first new signing of the summer on a three-year deal from Queen of the South.

The former Albion Rovers, Sunderland and Aldershot forward scored 11 goals in 26 appearances for the Doonhamers in season 2020/21.

Motherwell manager Graham Alexander told the club website: "We’re very happy to bring Connor in to start our rebuilding for next season.

Dundee have signed forward Luke McCowan on a two-year deal as they prepare to return to the Scottish Premiership.

McCowan, 23, arrives under freedom of contract after four seasons with Ayr United.

He scored nine goals in 33 games in the last campaign, having scored eight in the previous term.

Livingston have signed England Under-20s left-back Adam Lewis on a season-long-loan from Liverpool.

The 21-year-old spent time at French second tier side Amiens SC and Plymouth Argyle last term.

Lewis has made one first-team appearance for Liverpool, playing in an FA Cup fourth-round replay win over Shrewsbury Town in February 2020.

Japan forward Kyogo Furuhashi will add "something special" to Celtic after completing a move from Vissel Kobe.

The 26-year-old, currently the top scorer in the J1-League with 14 goals in 20 games, has agreed a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Furuhashi made his international debut in November 2019 and has scored three goals in six appearances.
