Welcome to the forum.
Hope to see you use some of your credits in the betting shop for a virtual flutter. I also notice you have a free 100 bet to use in there as well.

hello Joe
I'm almost the opposite (or partly) - I live in Liverpool (Oxton, the Wirral really) but I too support City.
When I came over here in 1984 I occasionally watched Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere but with Tranmere being only a mile or so from home I mainly watched Tranmere. And, of course, City played them sometimes.
In the old days Tranmere played on a Friday night and it was a good night out leaving Saturday free for family events.
I've supported City for over 50 years through thin and thin, with only a bit of thick thrown in every now and again - short life in the Prem (and beating Liverpool at VP) and last season to compensate.
I was at the COC final which was a disaster on the field but a great day out. Did you go.
I've only recently joined this site and usually post on Claret and Banter. Do you read that site?

Welcome to the forum Cityfan2
Yes I did go to the COC final and also enjoyed the day. I do occasionally post on Claret and Banter but mostly read what people have to say (or moan about).
Hope to see you on here posting more as it will be good to have another city fan on here. Also it would be nice to have a bit on input from you on the open boards (especially the league 1 board) as I will be doing pre/post match reports on all city games this season and other key games in the league.
How often do you go to VP?

I don't get the chance to go regularly to VP - my last home game was the Burton match when we lost. Strange as it sounds I've actually been to more way games in the last couple of seasons.
We still have family in Bradford so cross the M62 quite often but it's usually during the week - ie not match days.
I'm still finding my way around this site but hope to contribute. Last season I visited and posted on other clubs fans' sites quite often to read what was anticipated when they played City.
I've also been trying to use other sites to collect good/bad aspects of match day experiences so that I can pass ideas to City. I'm a fan of Geoffrey Richmond and think he brought some great ideas to City and made them think and act in a totally different way - and I don't know why some of the good ideas seem to have been dropped. I believe City could make the experience of a match much better and attract even more crowds and use some thought out marketing. Some of my suggestions have been used (but they might also have been suggested by others too)
I hope to be back posting soon
